Providers’ Network member Maria Nievas Tapia is a resource on what is happening in “Educacion Solidaria” (service-learning) within Latin America. Maria is the Founder and Director of the CLAYSS, the Centro Latinoamericano de Aprendizaje y Servicio Solidario (the Latin American Center for Service-Learning). She helps spread the pedagogy throughout Latin America through conferences, trainings, research, publishing, and technical assistance.
