Short Description of My Current Work
I work in a dynamic non-profit organization called Kauffman Scholars, Inc. This is an after-school preparation, access and scholarship program that offers students the opportunity to get college paid for! Not only do students have an opportunity to get a college education, but they also have the chance to build leadership and life skills through our programming.

    Professional History
I have been in education for about six years now and have always worked in an urban setting. I received my B.S. in education and my M.A. in School Leadership. I have been exposed to service learning as a student myself and I have been a part of project-based learning initiatives as a teacher. I currently work with 7th-12th grade students in a college preparation program.

    Professional Expertise/ Passions
    7-12 English Instruction
    Student Programming
    Academic Coaching

What I'm Most Excited About in My Current Work
I am the coordinator for a select group of Scholars called Ambassadors. Like other Ambassador programs, the Kauffman Scholars Ambassador Program is to promote growth and development in Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Mentorship, and Scholarship. This group of Scholars serves as our representatives and role models to younger Scholars. They are high performing, high achieving 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students.
